Crosspoint Christian School uses MAP testing as a way for us to foster student growth. MAP testing is developed by NWEA which serves 16.2 million students in over 50K schools. We are excited to announce our tremendous student achievement scores based on our spring standardized testing results (3rd – 10th Grade). Our students' and families' efforts combined with the work of our dedicated instructional staff and consistent Christian curriculum have resulted in our students demonstrating superior growth in all areas tested (reading, mathematics, and language arts). For students in a school to grow two percent in a year is significant. CCS students averaged a four percent growth in all academic areas.
Reading: CCS students grew from 6 percentile points above the national average to 10 percentile points above the national average.
Math: CCS students grew from 12 percentile points above the national average to 16 percentile points above the national average.
Language Arts: CCS students grew from 12 percentile points above the national average to 21 percentile points above the national average. We only tested our 6th through 10th grade students in language arts. Students showing an average academic growth of 9 percentile points is unheard-of.
We continue to be grateful for our partnerships with families at CCS. We are excited to be a part of the incredible success our students attained this year and what God has in store moving forward.
